I must apologize for not keeping this blog updated. I have been concentrating on the Facebook page and the blog has just become an afterthought. I will begin updating the blog more often from now on. A lot of great things are happening... including the creation of an all new comic strip called Charmy's Army. I'll post more details on this strip tomorrow.
Here is the remaining strips for the current storyline I've featured on the blog.
Fug loves tinkering around in cyber space. One night while watching reruns of Star Trek, Fug watched a commercial for a dating service, 1 800 HotGals, and decided he could create his very own dating service for the town of Okrapolis.

Thanks again for all the support. To see the next strip, go to the cartoonist studio and vote. Vote up to 4 times a day!!! Registration is easy.
I just came up with a brilliant idea for a TV Game Show called "A Moment To Own It". The concept will sweep the nation!!! I need to get an agent quick for this one.
The show revolves around not-so-safe household objects. You have 60 seconds to do wild, dangerous tricks. If you succeed your trick, you move up a level. If you survive... I mean to say if you win... all 10 levels, you win a million dollars!
At level one, the trick would be pretty simple. You would have to successfully stack 5 vials of nitroglycerin, or maybe you would have to jump rope while standing on the top of a tall stool.
It would be so cool! I do not think anything like this has ever been done before! Now I just need a semi-recognizable actor for a host. Maybe someone from the Food Channel or the Travel Channel.
Fug Cheese just informed me that there is already a show called Minute To Win It that is a sissy version of my idea. Dang it. I am always just a day or two too late.......
Dave Jones, creator of the comic strip Just Say Cheese, held a press conference today to denounce rumors claiming that he would be running for President in the year 2012. Rumors had been flying since last November that the up-and-coming cartoonist would take to the campaign trail for a push to become President of the United States.
"I wish to thank everyone for believing someone as meek as myself could run for such a high office as the President of the United States", Dave addressed. "Rumors have been circulating that I was secretly planning for a Presidential run in 2012. Truth is, not only was I not planning this, but I did not even know about the rumors until last week. Some VERY influential people have been begging me to consider such a run all week. I cannot even think about this at this time".
"Unfortunately, I have too many important projects that I must complete", explains Dave. "I am going to spend the next two years pushing my comic strip. After these two years are up and I have not accomplished my goal of syndicating my comic strip, I will at that time reconsider a bid for the President of the United States for 2016".
Okay Cheese Curds, I have some exciting news! Just Say Cheese's creator David Jones will be a guest at Austin's Comic Con in November! Dave will be drawing Cheese Doodles all day and giving them away for FREE to anyone who wants one.
ALSO, there will be a door prize at the end of each day for a FREE CHEESE SHIRT!*
If anyone wants to set up an appointment with Dave for interviews, syndication discussions, movie offers, or licensing possibilities, please contact Dave at email@example.com.
The Austin Comic Con will run three days, November 11, 12, and 13, 2011, at the Austin Convention Center.
*T-Shirt sizes are not guaranteed. One shirt per day will be awarded. Winner must be present at time of drawing. Time of drawing is yet to be determined but will be posted at the show on the day of each drawing.
Wow! My comic strip Just Say Cheese just received its 2,100th fan!!! What an amazing 10 months this has been. The next three months are going to be very exciting as well as I run my comic strip in the Cartoonist Studio's cartoonist search contest. The winner gets a FIVE YEAR developmental contract with Creator's Syndicate!!!
I have sent out presentations to the remaining six syndicates. I really think my strip is unique enough and funny enough to be syndicated. I also realize these syndicates receive THOUSANDS of ideas for strips every year... and their creators think their strip is good enough as well! The chances of my strip actually getting reviewed are pretty slim.
Winning this contest is my one REAL shot at making it in this dream career. That is why I am putting everything I have into these submissions. Over the next two weeks I am going to push myself to complete the five strips I need to get myself entered. Afterwards, I will return with new strips for the public... so stay "toon"ed!!!
